Singing: Musical Theatre Performance for Young Adults

Each 2 hour class meets Saturdays 3pm-5pm for 6 weeks: March 29, April 5, 12, 19, 26, May 3

For ages 12 to 16. Learn techniques for acting a song and engaging an audience from the recipient of the 2011 Music Educator of the Year award, Julia Holland. The class will culminate in a public showcase. Cost: $250 plus $45 for piano accompanist

Creating a Webisode: Film-making for Young Adults

Taught by Michael Lopez

Each 2 hour class meets Sundays 2pm-4pm for 6 weeks: February 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

For ages 12 to 16. Work together as an ensemble to develop a short story, shoot it on video and edit a finished product. Bring your creativity and ingenuity and experience every aspect of the film-making process. Cost: $250

Playwriting for Young Adults: Creating Your Own Monologue

Taught by Marlene Ondrea Nichols

This 2-hour class meets Saturday March 8th 3pm-5pm

For ages 12 to 16. Write your heart out! Starting with improv writing exercises that get the words down on the page, we then get you moving on your feet. Leave with the beginnings of a monologue that you can use for your next audition or in creating your Webisode. Cost: $40
